Fingal North Dublin Beekeepers' Association was founded in 1977. Committee and member's monthly meetings were held in
Kinsealy Parish Hall Co. Dublin.
An annual Beekeeping Course was commenced in Kinsealy and has grown in popularity and content over time, moving to Swords CBS and in the late 90's to Portmarnock Community School where they are still held. (see Events list)
Membership grew from strength to strength and today the Association has over 130 members. Committee and Member Meetings moved to CBS Swords in 1990. The Association Apiary was moved to Teagasc in Kinsealy around this time also.
Fingal North Dublin Beekeepers also have a Library which was set up in 2000
and named after a founder member the late Captain Eoin McAlinden who was Hon.Secretary for over 20 years. Books are available at monthly meetings or through the Librarian .
